Xai Airdrop Guide — Check Eligibility
Arbitrum’s new gaming “layer-3” network Xai launched its XAI token, hitting $154M market cap after the airdrop.
The first big crypto gaming airdrop of 2024 began Tuesday, as the Xai network distributed its XAI token to eligible users.
There’s layers to this: Xai bills itself as a “layer-3” built on Arbitrum, itself a layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum.
Per the Xai Foundation, 125M XAI tokens (5% of supply) went to eligible users like NFT holders and Sentry Node operators who help support the network. Crypto exchange Binance also offered XAI rewards for staking other cryptos pre-launch.
XAI debuted around $0.68 Tuesday before spiking above $0.77 and now trading around $0.57. Despite a 15% daily dip, XAI’s market cap sits above $154M with over 277M tokens circulating including airdropped tokens.
Airdropped tokens brought in nearly $70M value. Node operators claimed about $925 worth of XAI, while Vanguard NFT owners got around $730 worth. Legendary NFT holders scored $162 worth.
Xai teased “Season 2” of airdrops but hasn’t detailed how else users can earn rewards. Some complained about lower-tier NFTs not qualifying for this initial drop.

What is Xai?
Xai was developed by the Xai Foundation with Arbitrum’s Offchain Labs and studio Ex Populus. Xai also partners with esports org Team Secret to promote competitive games on the network.
Ex Populus is creating Xai’s first games like Final Form, a deckbuilding card game with auto-battler elements. Another game called LAMO features cartoon characters battling — LAMO already launched physical toys of gaming influencers that unlock those characters in-game.
